What does "open/closed" books mean?
My books open and close periodically. This means that when my books are "open" I am taking on new projects. When they are "closed", I do not book any new projects. The "open" window typically lasts up to a week.
How can I prepare for my appointment?
Bring a valid photo ID, water or other beverages, and snacks. For full day appointments consider bringing a packed lunch. Eat a good breakfast the day of and dinner the night before. Keep the tattoo area free of scratches, scrapes, bruises, etc..

I sent a inquiry/email, why haven't I received an answer?
It sometimes takes a while to get back to all of my inquires. Response times fluctuate, but if it's been over a month please reach out again! I may have missed your email.
Will I see my drawing before the appointment?
Drawings are ready for your appointment time and not shown beforehand. Design adjustments can be made day of the appointment. Reviewing the design in person same day saves you a trip to the shop and ensures the drawing can be communicated effectively.
How do I cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Send an email to AbbeySchulz.Ink@gmail.com requesting to cancel/reschedule. Retainers are non-refundable for cancellations and only transferable for rescheduling if I am able to fill the original appointment time with another client.* Late arrivals are subject to be treated as a cancellation and may lead to loss of retainer.
Can I use numbing cream?
I recommend against numbing creams for tattoos. Click here to read the FDA warning. If you choose to move forward with the use of numbing cream, please notify me beforehand. You will also be required to sign a waiver.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept cash and credit/debit cards, although cash is always preferred.
Do you accept walk ins?
I am currently appointment only.
*retainers may also be forfeited at the discretion of the artist. Please reach out if you have any questions.
